Direct contact: You can get this fungus by touching the skin of an infected person.

From animals: This fungus can be transmitted to humans from pets (dogs, cats) or livestock.

 

Through objects (Indirect contact): This fungus can be transmitted by sharing towels, clothes, combs, bed sheets, or other personal items used by an infected person.

Through soil: Although very rare, some people can get it through prolonged contact with infected soil.

Conditions: Hot and humid weather is very favorable for fungi to grow. It spreads quickly in places where there is a lot of sweating (crotch).
