Reasons for Mouth Ulcers

Mental stress: When there is severe mental stress, the body’s immunity decreases and the risk of mouth ulcers increases.

Hormonal changes: Hormonal changes in women before menstruation can cause mouth ulcers in some people.

Food allergies: Allergies to certain foods or drinks (for example, foods that are too spicy or sour) can cause mouth ulcers.

Medication side effects: Mouth ulcers can occur as a side effect when using certain types of painkillers or other medications.
