Reasons for Acne

Hormonal Changes: Hormonal changes in the body during adolescence and menstruation cause excessive production of sebum. This clogs hair follicles and causes acne.

Oily Skin: Skin that produces excess oil easily attracts dirt and bacteria and causes infection.

Bacteria: The bacteria Propionibacterium acnes on the skin of the face is the main cause of acne.

Dietary habits: Excessive consumption of sweets, dairy products, and fried foods can increase acne in some people.

Stress: Mental stress can affect the hormones in the body and cause acne to increase.

Cosmetics used: Creams and makeup that are not suitable for the skin can clog hair follicles (comedogenic products).

Poor hygiene: Not washing the face properly causes dirt to accumulate.
