Correct these mistakes in the kitchen; Protect your family’s health!

Some of our daily habits can lead to fatal diseases. The following are 4 important mistakes to avoid in the kitchen:

Excessive use of plastic utensils: Avoid putting hot food in plastic utensils and using plastic utensils in the microwave oven. The bisphenol-A (BPA) in it can cause hormonal changes and the risk of cancer.

Scratches in non-stick utensils: If non-stick utensils with Teflon coating get scratched, replace them immediately. This coating can break down at high temperatures and mix with food, which is harmful to the body.

Reheating oil: Reheating the same oil over and over again can increase ‘trans fat’ and cause cancer cells to grow in the body.

Use of aluminum foil: Avoid wrapping extremely hot and sour foods in aluminum foil. This can cause aluminum to mix with food.

Along with cooking healthy food, the way and type of utensils used to cook it are also important.

Although modern kitchen appliances make life easier, their unscientific use often leads to health problems.

Using earthenware or steel utensils is best for health. Such small changes will ensure a disease-free future for your family.
