Causes of Tingling and Numbness

Diabetic Neuropathy: Chronically high blood sugar levels can damage the nerves in the feet. This is the most common symptom in diabetics.

Vitamin Deficiency: Deficiency of Vitamin B12, B1, and B6 can affect nerve function and cause tingling.

Spinal Problems: Pressure on the nerves that go to the feet due to back pain (for example, Slip Disc/Sciatica) can cause numbness in the feet.

Circulatory Problems: Reduced blood flow to the feet (Peripheral Artery Disease) can cause numbness and coldness in the feet.

Alcohol: Excessive alcohol consumption over a long period of time can damage the nerves.

Continuous Stress: Sitting in the same position for a long time (for example, sitting with your feet crossed) can put temporary pressure on the nerves and cause tingling.

Side effects of medications: Rashes can occur as a side effect when taking certain medications.
