Important things that help the cylinder last up to 4 months

Choose the right utensils:
This is the most important way to save gas. Always use flat-bottomed and large-sized utensils. If the utensils are small, the fire will go out through the sides and the gas will be wasted.

Preparations before cooking food:

Chopping vegetables and soaking nuts/grains will help save gas. Soaking grains in advance when using a cooker will help them cook much faster.

Using a pressure cooker:
Pressure cookers can save 30% to 50% gas compared to cooking in an open vessel. The high pressure inside it cooks food faster.

Keep the burners clean:
If soot and dirt build up on the burners, the color of the fire will turn yellow or orange. This is a sign that the gas is not burning completely. Make sure that the fire is always blue. Clean the burners once a week with hot soapy water.

Turn on the gas only after placing the pot:
Many people put the pot on after turning on the gas. This wastes gas. Turn on the gas only after preparing the food in the pot and putting it in the oven.
