The main causes of heel pain are as follows:

The main causes of heel pain:
Plantar Fasciitis:
The main cause of this is the swelling and tightness of the tissue (Plantar Fascia) that extends from the heel to the toes at the bottom of the foot. The main symptom is a sharp, stabbing pain in the heel when you step on the ground right after getting out of bed in the morning or when you walk after a long period of rest.

Heel Spur:
When the problem of plantar fasciitis persists for a long time, calcium can accumulate in the bone of the heel and form a small growth (Bone Spur). This can make the pain more intense.

Achilles Tendinitis:
Excessive strain or inflammation of the Achilles tendon, which connects the ankle to the back of the heel, causes severe pain in the back of the heel.

Improper Footwear:
Using thick shoes without cushioning, wearing high heels, or walking on concrete floors for long periods of time in shoes without soles are major causes of heel pain.

Overweight and Obesity:
When the body weight increases, the entire weight of the body falls on the feet and heels, causing constant pain.

Uric Acid or Gout:
When the amount of uric acid in the body increases, it can accumulate in the tissues of the joints and heels as crystals, causing severe pain and swelling.

Standing for Long Hours: This pain is often seen in people who work for long periods of time standing on hard surfaces without rest, which can lead to weakness in the leg muscles.
