The main causes of heel pain and ways to solve them are given below:

Main reasons for heel pain (Reasons)
Plantar fasciitis: When the plantar fascia, which is the thick layer of tissue that extends from the heel to the toes, is subjected to excessive stretching, swelling and pain occur there. This pain is worse when you get up in the morning and take the first few steps.

Obesity: The feet bear the entire weight of the body. Excess weight puts excessive pressure on the bones and tissues of the heel.

Wrong footwear (Footwear): Regular use of footwear with a thick or flat sole (without flat foot support) or high heels is a cause of pain.

Continuous standing/walking: This problem is more common in people who do jobs that require prolonged standing on hard surfaces (for example, tiles, concrete).

Structural changes in the feet: If the shape of the foot (flat feet or high arches) is different from normal, it can cause heel pain.

Heel spur: A small piece of bone that grows on the heel can irritate the surrounding muscles and cause pain.
