The main causes of heel and foot pain are as follows:

The main causes of heel and foot pain:
Plantar Fasciitis (the most important):
This is due to the swelling and tightness of the tissue (Plantar Fascia) that extends from the heel to the toes at the bottom of the foot. The main symptom is a sharp, stabbing pain in the heel when you first get out of bed in the morning or when you walk after a long period of rest.

Heel Spur:
When the problem of plantar fasciitis persists for a long time, calcium can accumulate in the bone of the heel and form a small growth (Bone Spur). This can increase the pain.

Achilles Tendinitis:
Excessive strain or inflammation of the Achilles tendon, which connects the ankle and the back of the heel, causes severe pain at the back of the heel.

Overweight and Obesity:
When the body weight increases, the entire weight falls on the feet and heels. This causes constant pain.

Improper Footwear:
Using thick shoes without cushioning, wearing high heels, or walking for long periods in shoes without soles are major causes of heel pain.

Gout / Arthritis:
Increased levels of uric acid in the body can cause crystals to accumulate in the joints of the toes and heels, causing severe pain.

Standing for Long Hours: This pain is often seen in people who work on concrete floors or hard surfaces without resting for long periods of time due to muscle weakness.
