Main causes of hair loss

Nutritional deficiency: Lack of protein, iron, vitamin B12, vitamin D, and biotin, which are necessary for hair growth, are the main causes of hair loss.

Stress: When there is severe mental stress, hormonal changes occur in the body and this can increase hair loss.

Hormonal changes: Thyroid problems, postmenopausal changes in women, and postpartum hormonal changes (Postpartum hair loss) are causes of hair loss.

Excessive use of chemicals: Hair dyes, bleaching, hair straightening, and hair styles that use a lot of heat weaken the hair roots.

Diseases and medications: High fever, surgeries, cancer treatment medications, or other long-term diseases can cause hair loss.

Genetic: If a father or mother has had hair loss in the family, there is a risk that their children will also have it (Male/Female pattern baldness).

Scalp infections: Dandruff and fungal infections can increase hair loss.
