Reasons for Headaches

Tension Headache: This is the most common headache. It is caused by stress, anxiety, anger, and tension in the neck muscles.

Migraine: Severe pain on one side of the head. Symptoms include sensitivity to light and sound, nausea, and vomiting.

 

Sinus Headache: Pain in the forehead and around the eyes when there is an infection or swelling in the sinus cavities.

Eye Strain: Excessive strain on the eyes due to blurred vision and prolonged use of mobile/computer can cause headaches.

Dehydration: A lack of enough water in the body is a major cause of headaches.

Lack of sleep: Lack of proper sleep can lead to headaches.

Dietary deficiencies: Increased appetite (starvation), or sudden cessation of caffeine (tea/coffee) can cause headaches.

 

Other physical causes: Increased blood pressure (BP), fever, digestive problems, and side effects of some medications can also cause headaches.
