Triggers for migraines
The following situations can cause sudden headaches in people with migraines:

Diet: Excessive consumption of certain foods (e.g. chocolate, cheese, foods with ajinomoto), alcohol, and caffeine (coffee/tea).

Mental stress: Excessive workload, anger, anxiety, etc.

Sleep deprivation: Irregular sleep or sleeping too much.
